Nottingham talent and speaker agency evolves with new recruit

Nottingham-based celebrity talent and speaker agency Evolve has welcomed a new recruit to its team as it steps up operations with the launch of a new website.

Jo Foster takes up the role of operations and sales manager and will assist in overseeing the day-to-day running of the business, which helps to source celebrities and speakers for corporate and private events and brand partnerships.

Evolve, founded two years ago by Benoit Lawrence and was joined by Director Amad Tababa of Autify Digital during July 2021. The company works with celebrity talent and speakers across a variety of categories including sports, diversity and inclusion, mental health and business.

Jo, who has worked in the events and speaker industry for almost five years said she was thrilled to be joining the team at an exciting time, as it continues to build its presence in the fast-growing industry.

“I’ve been so impressed with the way Evolve operates and am delighted to help take it to the next level of success,” said Jo. “It’s only a young company but it has big ambitions and great growth plans, so I can’t wait to boost the business and to develop new opportunities in the coming months.”

Since being established in September 2020, Evolve has helped clients book an array of speakers and celebrity talent including astronaut Tim Peake, actor James Nesbitt, cricketer Michael Vaughan, footballers Karen Carney and David James, rugby players Zinzan Brooke and Tommy Bowe and reality TV star Lauren Pope.  

Benoit, who has worked in the industry for more than a decade and has an extensive network of contacts, said: “We are thrilled to welcome Jo to the team – she has a great deal of experience, particularly when it comes to ensuring all logistics are taken care of ahead of events.

“I am looking forward to seeing her develop into a key part of what we are aiming to achieve. We want to ensure that we provide a first-class service for all of our clients and Jo will certainly helpus to do that.”

Evolve’s new website has been designed and developed by business partner Amad’s Nottingham-based digital agency Autify Digital. It includes speakers in a range of categories and allows users to easily browse through a host of famous names renowned for delivering thought-provoking and motivational speeches in the UK and internationally.

The new site features a pool of more than 200 personalities, which Evolve plans to increase. As well as speakers, Evolve can help to source event hosts, comedians and musicians for corporate and private events.

Benoit added: “The team at Autify have done a magnificent job in designing and developing our new website. We wanted the site to look great and perform well so that new and existing clients can browse through it easily, ensuring an excellent user experience. We are excited about our future plans.”
